Adult Education
In the spring of 2001, PARC established a
relationship with Brewster Central School District’s Adult Education Department to develop courses that would address the interests of individuals with developmental disabilities. Since that first spring session, we have collaborated with Brewster Continuing Education every fall and spring semester to offer various courses in reading, math, computers, drama, sports, money management, crafts, and community awareness. Thanks to ENTERGY CHARITABLE FOUNDATION grant we were able to offer scholarships to all participants. PARC Adult Education was created to provide classes with special accommodations for the population we serve.
